Greetings neighbor,
I am Tristan Robert Lindo. Currently, I am seeking to earn my Master’s of Fine Arts degree (my emphasis is painting and drawing) at the University of Kansas. Having my own website has been a task that proved to be quite challenging for me- I did not want to have a website that is equivalent to a dead-end street where one would access my page, look at my work, then that was the end of the visit. It has always been of my interest to have a website that not only displays my work but also acts as a blog for me to exhibit personal thoughts behind the processes of my work. So if you happen to be reading this, buckle up! This is going to be an experiment of sorts and I am excited about it!

-Artist Statement-

My current body of work is focused around my perspective of the mysterious origins of our universe and life itself. When I think about how everything around us came to be, it baffles me but also encourages me to be a better person. Billions of years ago, all life on Earth came from a singular source that was a factor of specific reactions- which I find to be gorgeous about building relationships with people and being a witness to the connective feelings of love.

The primary mediums I utilize are paint-related (oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, and music). Music and visual art have always had a special bond together. As I have grown up I have concluded that my visual art could not be made possible without my exploration of music- just as my music could not be possible without the meditation of my visual art.
